PARTS of a derelict Bradford pub were set on fire this morning.
The fire service visited the former Hare & Hounds establishment on Great Horton Road on Sunday.
Crews say that it seemed somebody had broken into the empty pub and then set fire to the bar area and several old seats. The blaze then spread upstairs.
Firefighters from both Odsal and Fairweather Green stations attended the scene from 8.30am to 10am.
The Hare & Hounds is a 360-year-old pub with a long, central bar area and a semi-open plan multi-room layout.
It has been unoccupied for some time and sections of roofing have been removed in recent years.
