The scene on Canal Road on Friday night
THE fire service was seen on a key Bradford road last night attending an incident that was smaller than first thought.
Pictures sent into the Telegraph & Argus show a fire engine and other service vehicles on Canal Road.
Initially, Shipley, Fairweather Green and Bradford crews were called to a suspected building blaze at 10.43pm.
This did not turn out to be the case though as it was a small rubbish fire instead.
The operation was then descaled to only one station that dealt with the scene, near Stanley Road Tyres & Auto Centre, efficiently.
