A MAN has been banned from driving after being caught speeding on a major Bradford district road.
Max Simpson-Akambi, 22, of Wood Street, Bingley, was charged with exceeding a 50mph speed limit and was caught by manned equipment.
He was clocked driving a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 67 miles per hour on Sir Fred Hoyle Way/Bingley Bypass, Bingley, on December 23, 2021.
He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months, fined £440, ordered to pay £90 costs and a £44 victim surcharge for the offence. A collection order was made by the court.
His disqualification was deemed obligatory by the court due to repeat offending.
Simpson-Akambi was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 22.
