A POLICE scene is in place on a residential street in the Bradford district today.
Officers were called to the address, on Spring Head Road, Thornton, just after 11.45pm on Wednesday evening.
A house has been cordoned off and police are at the scene.
The police tape is stretched right across the front of the property.
West Yorkshire Police said they were called to the scene following a report of a disturbance.
The force added that a man in his fifties has been arrested.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson told the Telegraph & Argus this afternoon: "The scene is in relation to a report of a disturbance at an address which was received at 11.46pm yesterday (Wednesday).
"A 53-year-old man has been arrested. Enquiries ongoing."
