THE next court date has been set for a Bradford man accused of murdering a young mum.

Charlie Booth, 27, of Albert Road in Saltaire, Shipley, faces the charge of murdering 26-year-old Lauren Jade Howe.

Ms Howe died on July 24 following an incident in Tennis Way, Baildon.

Booth first appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court last Wednesday, where he was also charged with two offences in relation to Ms Howe’s sister, Leigha Howe.

They included threatening to burn down her house – with the intention of causing fear that the threat would be carried out – and sending mobile and text messages with threats to cause her stress or anxiety.

Booth appeared at Leeds Crown Court last Friday.

The case was adjourned until August 24, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
