POLICE are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a crash which resulted in the death of an elderly cyclist from Bradford.

They would like to speak to another cyclist who they are yet to hear from and who was in the area at the time.

The crash, involving a blue Ford Fiesta, happened at around 10.50am on July 22 when the 82-year-old cyclist was left seriously injured outside the Morrisons petrol station on the A65 New Road in the Yeadon/Guiseley area.

He was taken to hospital but later died on July 28.

The driver of the Fiesta was uninjured.

A force spokesperson said: "Police are continuing to investigate the road traffic collision in Guiseley on Friday, July 22, and are particularly interested in speaking to a cyclist who was in the area at the time of the collision. 

"This cyclist has not yet spoken with police and officers are keen to understand if the cyclist has any further information which may assist with the investigation.
