A BROADBAND provider is set to expand its offer in Bradford as part of a nationwide £200m full fibre network investment.

Grain Connect is currently in the process of rolling out a full fibre broadband network to more than 50 towns and cities across the UK.

The first phase will see 400,000 premises in the UK added to the network.

The firm is currently live and connecting customers in Little Horton and is now also expanding its network to cover Lidget Green, with plans to target 20,000 homes across Bradford in the future.

Grain builds its own fibre optic network with a dedicated fibre cable direct to every premises, meaning customers do not need to share a connection with their neighbours.

In addition, Grain believes in fair and transparent pricing, promising to never increase prices during the contract term and, at the end of the contract, customers can renew for the same monthly price being offered to new customers on their street.

Roland Barzegar, CFO at Grain Connect, said: “This 200m investment is a huge vote of confidence for our regional roll-out phases across the UK, and we can’t wait to bring super-fast, reliable, and affordable broadband packages to local communities.”
