A WOMAN has appeared in court for assaulting an officer at a Bradford police station.
Amber Schofield, 21, of Cross Street, Oakenshaw, Bradford, faced one charge of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
She assaulted a police constable acting in the exercise of her functions as such a worker, by beating her.
The offence took place at Trafalgar House, Nelson Street, Bradford, on May 22, 2022.
Schofield was handed a community order which includes 140 hours unpaid work in the community within the next 12 months.
She was also ordered to pay £200 compensation, a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Schofield pleaded guilty to the charge when she was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 20, 2022.
She was given no separate penalty for being drunk and disorderly in a public place. This also took place on May 22, 2022 outside Ivory nightclub, Thornton Road, Bradford.
