A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with possession of crack cocaine.
Anne Marie Whiteley, 42, of Broadway, Bradford, faced one charge of possession of a controlled drug of class A – crack cocaine.
She had in her possession six wraps of crack cocaine, a controlled drug of class A, at Edmund Street, Bradford, on July 5 this year, court documents state.
Whiteley was fined £80, ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The court was to apply for deductions from benefits to recover the balance of £197.
The court ordered for the six wraps of cocaine to be forfeited and destroyed.
Whiteley pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 19.
