A BRADFORD man appeared in court this morning charged with attempted murder following an incident in Great Horton.
Leon Fenton, 32, of Birch Lane, Bowling, appeared before Deputy District Judge Bryan at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court' following an incident on Great Horton Road at around 9pm on Tuesday, where a 28-year-old man sustained serious injuries.
Judge Bryan said: "The charge of attempted murder can only be dealt with at Crown Court.
"There is also possession of an offensive weapon, a linked matter, and I am sending both matters to Crown Court."
The court also heard that there is CCTV footage and other evidence that will be reviewed before then.
Fenton was remanded into custody and will appear at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday, August 25.
