IMAGES have been released of two women police would like to identify in their investigations into thefts in Bradford city centre.

The Bradford City Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to speak to anyone who can identify the women, who they wish to speak with in connection with the thefts in city centre stores in June.

Officers are advising residents to be mindful of their surroundings and keep a close eye on personal property when shopping in the city.

The team are investigating two incidents in retailers on June 25, in which suspects stole personal possessions including handbags and bank cards, from members of the public.

PC Wood from Bradford City NPT, said: “We have been investigating reported thefts from shoppers in Bradford and are advising residents to take care of personal possessions when out shopping.

“As part of our enquires, we are releasing CCTV stills of two women we would like to speak to.

“It is thought the women pictured may have links to the Dewsbury area.

“We would urge anyone who can identify one or both women in the images to contact us on 101 or using the Live Chat facility on the website.

“Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.”
