THE case of a young boy who appeared in court accused of damaging a wall has been thrown out.
The 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons due to his age, first appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 28.
He was said to have “without lawful excuse, damaged a solid stone masonry wall of a value of £1,000" at a property on Cutler Heights Lane, Bradford, "intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged".
The incident was said to have happened on February 10 this year.
He denied the offence and when he appeared in court on July 6, the case was dismissed with no case to answer found.
