POLICE have made an arrest after a man suffered serious facial injuries in an attack at Dewsbury this morning.
Detectives in Kirklees are appealing for information after officers were called to Springfield Terrace, Dewsbury, shortly before 5am today to a report of an ongoing fight.
A man, aged in his 30s, was found at the scene with facial injuries and has been taken to hospital.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in custody.
Detective Inspector Oliver Coates, of Kirklees District CID, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who has heard or witnessed the events leading up to or following this man being injured.
“The victim has suffered some nasty facial injuries and it is vital that we identify those responsible.”
