THE WINNER of this year’s The Apprentice series is opening a dessert parlour in Bradford.

Harpreet Kaur, a businesswoman from West Yorkshire, revealed in an Instagram post that she will be opening a dessert parlour, called Oh So Yum in Bradford.

Harpreet impressed business mogul, Lord Alan Sugar, throughout this year's series, and won him over when she presented the business plans for the dessert store in the final episodes.

The Instagram post shows the exterior of the shop-to-be, which has been painted bright pink to coincide with the Oh So Yum branding, and is seemingly located on White Abbey Road, Bradford.

In the video, Harpreet appears with her sister Gurvinder, who she co-owns the business with.

“We are so excited. This shop is going to be bigger than ever.”

“Downstairs we will be serving waffles, crepes and our famous cookie cups.”

“Upstairs I’ll be working away upstairs in our new head office with the rest of the team.”

“I cannot wait to come and see you hear and for you to come and see the transformation,” she says.

Oh So Yum already has a store in Huddersfield, and at the White Rose Centre in Leeds, as well as offering an online delivery service.

The website shows the sweet treats that Oh So Yum offers, which include cookie pies, brownies, brookies, sweets and cookie brownie doughnuts.

In the BBC series, Harpreet described herself as a ‘born leader, fearless and funny.’

Her business plan included “levelling up” her already successful six-figure coffee and cakes business to become a leading brand in the UK.

Throughout the entire 12-week challenge, she was only on the losing team twice and was never taken into the dreaded boardroom to be interrogated by Lord Sugar himself.

Harpreet said at the time that she was “motivated by her need to be the best version of herself and is ready to be Lord Sugar’s next business partner.”

And in the final episode told Lord Sugar, "I've already got a successful business, I can do sales, I can negotiate hard and I can lead others.

"I have big plans and I want to accelerate my growth and this is going to supercharge me to do that," before taking home the £250,000 investment money.

An opening date has not yet been given for the new store, but the Telegraph and Argus have contacted Oh So Yum for more information.
