A BRADFORD woman has had to pay out £600 after her Staffie injured someone in her garden.

Diane Isherwood, 56, of Gain Lane, Bradford, admitted being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control in an incident on July 22, 2021.

Isherwood must now comply with an order imposed by magistrates, which means the Staffordshire bull terrier must be muzzled and on a lead while outside or in the garden.

The dog must also be muzzled and on a lead when there are visitors at the house.

In addition, anyone who takes the dog for a walk must be over 16.

If Isherwood fails to ensure these rules are complied with, then the dog could be destroyed.

The hearing took place at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on June 29.
