A POLICE cordon has been put in place on a major road in the Bradford district.

There is a large police presence on Valley Road, Shipley. 

A number of police vehicles, including a van and two cars, have been scrambled to the scene near some cars parked outside flats.

Several police officers can be seen carrying out investigations within the cordon. 

One passer-by said it looked as though a serious discovery had been made that has sparked a significant police response.
