From Fakhra Ahmed

Your tribute:Sami was my best friend and my cousin. I’ve never met anyone who was like him, he wasn’t like everyone else, he was special and everyone could see this. He’d ask me to come with him to the opticians, he’d want to try new food places with me, he wanted my opinion on his new clothes, he’d talk to me about how his school exams were going, he’d play curby with me, he’d ask me for discount codes and he was always there for me. Life isn’t the same without Sami, my heart doesn’t beat the same as it used to and I don’t have my best friend here with me anymore. He’s gone from this temporary life and left us here. I love you Sami 🤍

From Umar Zaman

Your tribute:You were the light of our lives & a blessing in disguise and we’ve realised that too late. You mean the world to us all and you’re missed and loved so much. Maths, geography & english aren’t ever going to be the same and that breaks my heart. You were too good for this world and too good for us all. I wish that we had cherished your presence a lot more & I wish that we had told you all this when you were here with us. We’re all so broken & so lost without you, our hearts are empty and our eyes are full of tears. You were like a brother to us all, always caring for everyone & always there for everyone. I’ll never forget what you did for me, it’ll always have a special place in my heart. From football to sports day, everything reminds us of you & your presence is greatly missed. I pray that Allah swt grants you the highest rank in jannah & gives your family sabr ameen. Not a day goes by without us thinking about you, thank you for everything…you’re forever in our hearts. May we all reunite with you in Jannah ameen ❤️

Your tribute:Sami you were one beautiful, respectful, well-spoken, funny, bright, happy, and vital part of our year group. We’re all missing you every second of everyday and you’re never ever going to be really and truly gone for us - you’re in our hearts always. May ya Allah grant you the highest rank in Jannah inshaallah and perhaps maybe one day we can see you live the dreams you told us in the afterlife. May Allah grant your family Sabr and ease although it’ll be something they’ll never truly get over - inshaallah it gets made easier for them. I am speaking on behalf of all of us when I say we all love you immensely Sami. We appreciate what you have left for us in which is only good things to say about you because you were an amazing, kind soul who’s smile lit up the world MaShaAllah. He was an Angel, too good for this world. To his family and friends - keep doing what you’re doing and keep together, keep strong, keep faith in Allah, and keep being surrounded by one another to help us try to adjust and heal in a way together. Already a lot of support within our school of DixonsCityAcademy and outside has brought us together and helped give a good ground of support for us. The way Sami has brought all of us together without even knowing - in holy places such as the mosque - is so so beautiful. A blessing in disguise. You’re all doing so well, I’m proud of you all. Ameen 🤲❤️
