A ROAD has been closed following a serious collision in Otley after the driver suffered a medical episode.
West Yorkshire Police were called to the incident on Milner Road at 4:23pm, when they received a report of a minibus colliding with a lampost.
One adult male required medical attention, however, no other injuries have been reported.
Northern Powergrid has been notified regarding damage to a substation.
The road remains closed.
West Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We were called to the scene to a report of a driver suffering a medical episode.
"We are still at the scene."
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at 4:33pm.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Polie said: "At 4.23pm today, police received a report of a minibus colliding with a lamp post in Milner Bank, Otley.
"Emergency services attended the scene as an adult male on the bus required urgent medical attention.
"No other injuries have been reported.
"Northern Powergrid have been notified regarding damage to a substation which was caused as a result of the collision.
"The road remains closed at this time."
