Detectives investigating disorder at May’s Huddersfield V Luton match have released images of Luton fans they need to identify.

West Yorkshire Police has urged anyone who recognises any of the nine men pictured in connection with violent disorder offences to get in touch.

The incident took place at the EFL Championship semi-final game between Huddersfield Town AFC and Luton Town FC in Huddersfield on Monday, May 16.

The incident involved only a small minority of those attending the game – a complete contrast to the rest of the fixture.

The force said it was aware that some images are blurred but decided to issue all of them as part of the appeal process.

Following a previous appeal earlier in July, 11 of 14 Huddersfield supporters have now been identified as enquiries continue.

Anyone who has information which can assist police is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat  or by calling 101, referencing crime number 13220269509.
