BRADFORD is braced for a warning of extreme heat this weekend, as temperatures are set to rise even further.

Sunday will see an amber warning in place across the UK, including Bradford, as temperatures are set to rise to a high of 28C.

The extreme heat warning includes population-wide adverse health effects are likely to be experienced and delays and road closures can be expected.

The mercury is set to increase even further next Monday in Bradford with a top temperature of 30C, according to Met Office forecasts.

Before the weekend temperatures are expected to fall only slightly with warm and dry days expected.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day, with temperatures reaching a high of 24C in Bradford, with some early evening sunshine expected.

Tomorrow will see a day of wall-to-wall sunshine in Bradford as temperatures tumble slightly to a high of 20C.

Thursday will see a dry day of sunshine and cloudy conditions with a high of 19C in Bradford.

Friday will be a slight improvement on the previous day as the mercy reaches 20C.

This Saturday will see a leap in temperatures with a high of 24C in Bradford, but a cloudy and overcast day expected.
