A BRADFORD city centre road has now re-opened following a crash in the early hours of this morning.

Hall Ings had been closed earlier today due to a police incident and the Force had warned it would be shut for some time.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman confirmed one vehicle was involved in crash on Hall Ings at 3.38am today.

A crew from Bradford Fire Station was initially called to the crash but were not needed to deal with the incident, a station spokesperson added.

Hall Ings Road Southbound was shut from Bridge Street (St George's Hall) to A641 Manchester Road (Jacobs Well).

The incident also meant that First bus services 363/637/640/641 were forced to divert through Bradford Interchange.
