POLICE have been forced to close the Bunnyfields in Calverley for several months due to "nuisance motorcycles".
West Yorkshire Police and Leeds City Council recently had their closure order for the fields approved.
It means anybody who is found in the exclusion zone, without a reasonable excuse, from now until 4pm on October 5 can be arrested.
An example of the crime on the fields was only highlighted by police on July 3.
The rider of a moped was stopped for not having a licence or insurance.
He was reported to the courts and had his bike seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
At the time, officers from the Leeds District Off-Road Bike Team said this is an "ongoing issue".
