A BRADFORD doctor had an untimely interruption while appearing on live TV – when his mother called him.
Dr Amir Khan was being interviewed from his Bradford surgery on ITV’s Lorraine programme, today hosted by Carol Vorderman, when he was called up by his mother, nicknamed Mama Khan on social media.
He apologised to the presenter on social media afterwards and during the light-hearted clip, Miss Vorderman joked: “Mama Khan, off you go.”
So despite me telling her not to call me whilst I’m at work unless it’s an ABSOLUTE emergency , #MamaKhan called me whilst I was on Lorraine today
