A GROUP of 10 Bradford district businesses are vying for the public vote as part of a £20,000 Go-Greener Fund.
The fund was set up by First West Yorkshire, backed by Green Street, an organisation helping small retailers to become more sustainable, and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
A total of 10 small firm in Bradford received £2,000 each after winning over the competition’s judging panel earlier this summer. The firms were: Rimmingtons Pharmacy, Wiggles Play Space and Coffee Shop, Mean Old Scene, The Stitch Society, Huma Humad, MAPA Bradford, Bradford City Community Foundation, The Rooftop Café, Bread+Roses and Smorgasbord Coffee Bar.

The pot of money is to help small businesses in retail, leisure, hospitality, health and beauty and other consumer services encourage eco-friendly high street spending and boost customer-led sustainable growth.
Now the 10 firms are hoping to win over the public in the next stage of the scheme.
The public have the chance to pick three of the 10 district firms in an online vote.
The winner receiving a fully-funded sustainability review of their business with advice from experts, paid for by the Combined Authority.
