A MAN suffered head injuries after he disturbed two people who were trying to break into his car. 

Police have launched a probe into the incident, which happened in the early hours of Sunday morning on Briggs Avenue in Wibsey. 

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called at 4.45am yesterday (July 10) to Briggs Avenue where two suspects were attempting to break into the victim’s car.

"The victim disturbs them and is then assaulted.

"The man in his forties suffered head injuries. One suspect is described as a white male with white short hair, around 5ft6 tall, slim build and clean shaven, around 45-50 years old. He was wearing blue jeans and a grey long sleeved jumper

"The other suspect is described as around 5ft10 tall, average build with a black beard. He was wearing black pants and a hat.

"Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford CID."
