A WOMAN has appeared in court for a spate of thefts at Bradford shops.
Donna Rogers, 47, of Broadway, Bradford, was handed a community order for four charges.
In the first, going equipped for theft, she was convicted of not being at her place of abode, had with her two gift bags lined with foil for use in the course of, or in connection to, a theft from a shop.
This took place at JD Sports, at Forster Square, Bradford, on May 11, 2022. She was also ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs for this offences.
Rogers was sentenced for stealing confectionary items, to the value of £80, from HMV, The Broadway, on June 14, 2022.
She stole a fragrance, to the value of £22, belonging to Next, Forster Square Retail Park, Bradford. This offence took place on May 24, 2022.

The community order includes a rehabilitation activity requirement. A collection order was made by the court.
Rogers pleaded guilty to all four charges and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 6, 2022.
