A VICTIM was injured trying to chase down their stolen car in an incident at Greengates in Bradford yesterday.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle on New Line, Greengates at 1.30pm yesterday afternoon.
"Officers attended to find that a car had been stolen from the victim.
"The victim tried to chase the suspect and suffered an injury as a result of falling.
"The victim was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.
"The vehicle a Grey Citroen was found abandoned a short while later.
"The suspect is described as a white male around 6 foot tall, skinny build, dark wavy hair, stubble, a large cut across his face, he spoke in a local Yorkshire accent and appeared to be in his late 30s.
"He was wearing a black cap, with shorts and a cream jacket and yellow top underneath.
"Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford CID."
