Emergency services were called out to a crash between a pedestrian and vehicle in Great Horton this afternoon.

The incident took place on Great Horton Road around 2pm, leaving the road blocked. 

West Yorkshire Police has since cleared the road but traffic is continuing to move slowly.

The collision appears to be damage only, a spokesperson for the force said.

Traffic is coping well in the area, according to The AA.

In an earlier update, The AA said: "Reports of crash on Great Horton Road at A6177 Horton Grange Road."
