SKIPTON MP Julian Smith has called on under fire Prime Minister Boris Johnson to 'take the lead in a responsible transition to ensure stable government'.
Referring to the Prime Minister's appearance at the common's liaison committee this afternoon, Mr Smith tweeted: "The Prime Minister is absolutely right in what he has just said at the liaison committee, 'all flesh is grass'.
"He must now take the lead in a responsible transition to ensure stable government for our country."
Mr Johnson faced questions from chairs of all of parliament's select committees on Ukraine, the cost of living and integrity in politics.
Throughout the day Mr Smith has retweeted the flow of ministerial resignations.
