POLICE swooped on a house in the district amid fears someone had a firearm.
Officers were called to an address in Bracken Bank Avenue, Keighley, on Tuesday night.
It came after a report someone had been in possession of a possible firearm.
It's understood armed police and the police plane were called to assist.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Police were called to Bracken Bank Avenue, Keighley at just after 10pm on Tuesday, March 28 to a report a person had been at the location in possession of a possible firearm before departing.
"Officers attended and enquiries remain ongoing into the matter today."
