TWO male suspects who allegedly tried to break into garages by ramming them have escaped after failing to gain entry.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson for the Shipley and Keighley areas said at 1.30am today two suspects were seen trying to break into a garages on Leeds Road, Shipley, just off Glenroyd.

The suspects were both males dressed all in black, one was wearing a grey gilet.

They had with them a motorcycle that they were using to try ram the garage doors.

The registration plate of the motorcycle was covered up.

The suspects made off on the motorbike after being unable to gain entry to the garages.

They were last seen heading in the direction of Bradford city centre.
