A WOMAN has secured a four-star holiday to Gran Canaria for £25 through a new Jet2holidays scheme.
Amy Lightowler, from Leeds, has successfully ‘Bid on a Break’ with Jet2holidays and secured the holiday for just £25.96.
The ‘Bid for a Break’ campaign from the UK’s leading tour operator to many leisure destinations across Europe, the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean.
Amy was told that she had entered the lowest unique bid, after placing her bid of £25.96 through the campaign. This meant that she had purchased the seven-night holiday to the Abora Catarina by Lopesan in Gran Canaria for two adults and two children for that same price.
To enter download the Jet2holidays app on the App Store or Google Play, add in their bid to the nearest pence. If they are the only user to bid that amount and that amount is the lowest, they will buy the holiday for that price. Bids open at 9am on a Monday and can be placed until noon on the Thursday, before the lowest unique bid is announced on the same day.
Amy said: “The numbers I chose were a combination of the dates in my birthday – I think they might be my lucky numbers now.”
