A STOLEN scooter from Huddersfield was found in a Holme Wood garden over the weekend.
On Saturday, thanks to community intelligence, officers were able to find the vehicle at an address on the Bradford estate.
After a quick check, it was revealed the scooter came from Huddersfield.
Once recovered, the black vehicle was returned to its rightful owner.
On Sunday, a spokesperson from the force said: "Community intelligence led officers to this stolen scooter yesterday.
"Following information from the community being received, officers made enquiries at an address in Holmewood yesterday afternoon, Saturday, June 25, where this scooter was in the garden.
"A quick check revealed it to have been stolen from Huddersfield.
"The scooter was recovered for forensic work and returned to the rightful owner."
