FOLLOWING the sad news of the death of Bradford-born Harry Gration, we're paying tribute to him in these photos from over the years, which reflect his love of sport.
Harry was a Yorkshire institution, fronting the BBC’s Look North from 1982-2020.
He joined the BBC in 1978, after working as a history teacher, and joined Look North in 1982. The BBC's director-general Tim Davie said Gration was “loved everywhere, but especially in Yorkshire”.
Farewell Harry. You are much missed.
