FOUR people were arrested after they were caught shoplifting from a Bradford district supermarket.
The incident happened at the Asda in Keighley on Thursday afternoon.
After committing the act, the individuals attempted to evade police by making off in a vehicle.
Operation Steerside, working with the Roads Policing Unit, quickly caught up with them and the stolen property was recovered.
The four people were sent to the cells and interviewed about the thefts.
Yesterday, Operation Steerside tweeted: "Earlier in the afternoon, we responded to a report of shoplifters making off in a vehicle from Asda in Keighley.
"Working with West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit, the vehicle was quickly stopped.
"All stolen property recovered, four in the cells to be interviewed for theft from shop."
