A BRADFORD woman has appeared in court charged with drunk and disorderly behaviour at a train station in York.
Janine Mitchell, 46, of Baxandall Street, Little Horton, faced one offence of being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
She was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour at York Railway Station, Station Road, York. The offence took place on June 4, 2022 and was contrary to the Criminal Justice Act 1967.
Mitchell was fined £400 and ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and also told to pay a £40 victim surcharge.
A collection order was made by the court at the sentencing hearing.
Mitchell pleaded guilty to the one charge and was sentenced at York Magistrates’ Court on June 20, 2022.
