A MAN has appeared in court after being caught speeding on the Bingley Bypass.
Uzair Ali, 20, of Lower Westfield Road, Bradford, was clocked driving at 86mph in a 50mph speed limit section of the Sir Fred Hoyle Way, Bingley. The offence took place on April 24, 2022.
His driving record was endorsed with six licence points and he was fined £230. Ali was also ordered to pay £90 costs and a £34 victim surcharge. de A collection order was also made by the court at the hearing.
He faced one charge of exceeding a 50mph speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order – manned equipment.
Ali pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on June 11, 2022.
