ELECTRIC vehicle charging points will be added to the car park of a Bradford retail site after new plans were approved.
An application for two rapid EV charging stations at Bolton Junction Shopping Parade on Bolton Road was submitted by LCP Properties earlier this Spring.
The equipment will lead to the loss of one parking space on the site.

The plans have now been approved by Bradford Council, with planning officers saying the work will “allow for the charging of plug in vehicles in a safe, accessible and convenient location.”
It is the latest successful application for charging points in car parks of businesses. Recently numerous drive thru restaurants, petrol filling stations and industrial parks have been granted permission to install facilities for electric vehicles.
