SKIPTON Sheep Day returns this weekend after a break of three years.
Last held in 2019 because of the coronavirus pandemic, the popular event, which last attracted almost 18,000 people, will be back on Sunday (June 26).
Held on the closed High Street, Sheep Day will welcome back the 'world famous' The Sheep Show, as well as a host of other entertainment, funfair rides and street food.
The event will also incorporate the town's commemoration of Armed Forces Day.
The Haworth Home Guard will be taking part with regimental displays; military vehicles and deactivated artillery.
And, there will be stalls from the Royal Air Force Air Cadets and the Royal British Legion.
The lowering of the Armed Forces Day flag, which was raised yesterday (Monday) at the start of Armed Forces week, over Holy Trinity Church, will take place at 3pm.
Sheep Day will take place from around 10am to 4pm.
