A BRADFORD man has been jailed for stealing pressure washers from a city supermarket.
Andrew Smith, 38, of Rockwell Lane, was jailed for a total of 12 weeks.
He was committed to prison for eight weeks for stealing two pressure washers, worth a total of £230, from Quora Retail Park, Idlecroft Road, Aldi, Bradford, on March 31, 2022. He was also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge.
Smith was also jailed for four weeks, to run consecutively, for possession of a class A drug – heroin. This offence was detected at Trafalgar House, Bradford, on April 4, 2022.
He was also committed to prison for eight weeks, to run concurrently, for stealing a leaf blower, two jigsaws and a power washer, worth a total of £230, from Aldi, Idlecroft Road, Bradford, on April 4, 2022.
Smith pleaded guilty to all three charges and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on June 8, 2022
