A MAN was found guilty in a Bradford court this month of speeding at 100mph on the motorway.
Catalin-Gabriel Calacean was 30mph over the speed limit on the M62 eastbound carriageway between junctions 24 and 25 earlier this year.
The offence, committed on April 7, carries a £440 fine and the Milton Keynes resident, of Fonda Meadows, must also pay a £44 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs.
Calacean also gained six penalty points on his licence following the hearing at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on Monday, June 13.
The 28-year-old's offence was contrary to regulation 3 of the Motorways Traffic (Speed Limit) Regulations 1974, section 17(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
