A MAN sent someone pretending to deliver food to a woman's house who he was banned from contacting.
Yusuf Basser, 30, of Bradford Road in Batley, appeared in Leeds Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
He was charged with two counts of breaching a non-molestation order.
Basser pleaded guilty to both offences on May 23.
The 30-year-old sent an individual round to a woman's house - who he was prohibited from contacting - on Ferbuary 26 and that person pretended they were delivering food to her.
Basser also messaged the woman the day before.
Non-molestation orders are similar to restraining orders.
Basser was sentenced with a community order for the two offences.
He must complete 100 hours of unpaid work within the next year, before June 15, 2023.
He was also ordered to pay £180, which will be deducted from his benefits.
This includes a surcharge of £95 to fund victim services and costs of £85.
Basser's guilty plea was taken into account when sentencing.
