A MAN must pay out nearly £1,000 for driving a vehicle illegally on one of the district’s main roads.
Pawel Labas, 35, of Little Horton Lane, Bradford, was charged with driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and the use of a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance.
He was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.
The offences happened on December 12 last year on the Bingley Bypass.
For the insurance offence, he was fined £770, ordered to pay costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £77.
His driving record was endorsed with eight points.
There was no separate penalty for the other charge. A collection order was made by the court to recover the £937.
