A TEENAGER has been made the subject of a community order after she stole nearly £300 worth of goods from Aldi.

Alexandra Petrovics, 19, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court to be sentenced.

She faced two charges of theft.

The first offence happened on March 19 this year, when Petrovics, of Hick Street, in the Little Germany area of the city centre, stole goods worth £200 from the Aldi store on Leeds Old Road in Thornbury.

The second offence happened on March 26, when she stole goods worth £70 from the same store.

The court made a community order, with a rehabilitation activity requirement attached to it.

The deadline for the order was set at May 19 next year.

Petrovics’ guilty pleas were taken into consideration when passing sentence.
