A BAILDON bungalow could be flattened to make way for a development of five-bed homes.
Westwood, a property on Stubbings Road, is the subject of a new application submitted to Bradford Council.
Submitted by C O’Connell, the application says the existing bungalow is “in a state of disrepair” and says the four detached homes would be a “more efficient use of land” for the large site.
It goes on to say: “The plan will provide much needed new housing within a sustainable location.
Plan for modern home near 'Victorian backwater' near Baildon is refused
“It will contribute to meeting local housing need, without a significant loss of green space within the area.”
It says each of the homes will be fitted out with environmentally friendly measures, such as air source heat pumps.
A decision on the application is expected in August.
