TWO teenage males were arrested following an attempted street robbery in a Bradford district town centre over the weekend.

The arrests were made on the morning of Monday, June 13, after the incident took place the previous afternoon.

The victim managed to alert those nearby and it was then when the suspects fled the scene.

The two teens were put into custody after their arrests.

A force spokesperson said on Monday on West Yorkshire Police - Keighley's Facebook page: "Yesterday afternoon we received a report of an attempted street robbery in Keighley town centre.

"The victim managed to alert passers-by and the suspects fled the scene.

"Enquiries this morning have led to the arrest of two teenage males, who are currently in custody in Bradford."
