A TEENAGER killed in the triple fatal M606 crash has been named locally.

Kyden Leadbeater, 18, was a passenger in a van that travelled the wrong direction up the M606 and ploughed into a taxi, killing the driver and his customer.

The 15-year-old driver of the Ford Transit van, suspected to be stolen, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

One tribute to Kyden on Facebook says: “I will forever thank you for looking after my family like they was your very own big lad I can’t believe it.

“I can’t believe you're gone,  most polite well-mannered young lad, was like my little brother I don’t know what else to say thinking of your family at this sad time.”

Another said: “So many memories that I will cherish forever.”

Tributes have also been paid to the other victims; 28-year-old taxi driver Sohail Ali and his 49-year-old passenger Simon McHugh.
