A 38-YEAR-old Bradford man has been jailed after exposing himself three times.

Mohammed Nadeem, of Silverdale Road, Bradford, admitted three counts of exposure, when he appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on June 1.

The three charges related to incidents on April 27 and 28, and between August 1 and October 30, 2021, where he was said to have intentionally exposed his genitals intending that someone would see and be caused alarm or distress.

In addition, Nadeem, who was subject to a suspended prison sentence at the time from an earlier offence, saw the suspended term activated.

He was jailed for 22 weeks in total and must pay £128 as a surcharge to fund victim services.

In sentencing, magistrates found the offence so serious because it was aggravated by the defendant’s record of previous offending.

In January, the Telegraph & Argus reported that Nadeem was spared an immediate jail sentence after going on a rampage at a Bradford petrol station the previous month.

He admitted stealing condoms, chocolates and medicine with a total value of £66.78 in the incident, where he also used threatening, abusive and insulting language and behaviour towards staff and destroyed a Covid-19 protective screen worth £100.
