A MAN has been jailed for causing criminal damage at a Bradford city centre restaurant.
Billy Maven, 26, of no fixed address, faced a charge of criminal damage to property under £5,000.
He was convicted of damaging a wooden planter to an unknown value belonging to Zizzi restaurant, in Charles Street, Bradford, on May 13, 2022.
Maven was jailed for six months for the offence as it was deemed so serious because of his previous record of offending and committed while he was also the subject of a suspended sentence order.
He was also ordered to pay £50 compensation for this criminal damage charge.
Maven pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on June 1, 2022.
