A TEENAGE boy has been convicted of a robbery in Bradford.
The 16-year-old, who is from Bradford but cannot be named due to his young age, appeared before the West Yorkshire Youth Court, at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court, to be sentenced.
The offence happened in June 2020 when he robbed his victim of their Apple iPhone 6.
He pleaded guilty on May 30 this year.
The teenager was referred to the Bradford Youth Offender panel for a period of four months.
The court also ordered costs of £85 be paid to the Crown Prosecution Service, along with a £22 victim surcharge.
A collection order was made by the court.
His parent/guardian is to pay the balance of £107 at a rate of £20 per month beginning on June 27.
